Where do I start?
Two years ago I found a picture online of an orange Ducati cafe racer. I fell in love. I did some research and found it to have been built by Redmax Speedshop in Devon.
18 months ago I bought a 2000 Monster 750 with nothing but the intention of dropping it to Steve and letting him have his wicked way with it.
Two months ago I found out it was going to be exhibited at The Bike Shed London 2019, where my R86 was going to be unveiled! This would be the first time I was going to see the bike and I simply could not wait.
Press launch night arrived and we had all loaded our bikes in. As I was walking around I suddenly spotted a ridiculously yellow Ducati cafe racer… I knew it!
Blown away I approached the bike to find Steve not far, what an unveiling.
Two weeks ago I drove to Dunkeswell and collected the bike and since have found every excuse to ride it!
